The Out Come

Come out of the wilderness.  For though you have been led into the wilderness for the trials, you are now being led out of the wilderness for the work I have called you to.  Do not stay and pray for the trial to leave, leave the trial.  Leave the wilderness with the power of the Spirit.  For every trail has an outcome.  So come out.  I am leading you to a new place.  Do not leave to way you came.  Do not pick up the old, for I have a new path ahead to follow and I will supply all of your needs according to My riches in glory.

Luke 4:1-4, 13-14

Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the desert, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry.

The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread."

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone.'"

When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time.            Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside.

Commentary

This prophetic word may be a personal word, but, in general, when I get a word for our Thursday Morning meetings, it has corporate application.  SO I will include it as a corporate word.  This word says that though you have been in a trial, a new season is at hand and it is time to move on and come out of the wilderness.  When we have a trial, it usually comes to test our faith.  Once we establish our faith position, we can move forward even when the signs of the victory have not fully manifest.  Jesus told the paralytic to take up his pallet and walk.  I a not sure what would of happened to him if he would have not stood up and walked, but when hhe did, he was healed.

It seems many times we make our home in the trial rather than passing through it to the other side.  But remember that the  trial has not come to stay, but has come to pass.  Therefore for all that this word applies to, the cloud is moving on.  Move on with it, even if you don’t feel like it now.  Luke 4:14 says that after the trial, Jesus came out of the wilderness by/with the power of the Spirit.  Whether He was that weak or that powerful we do not know.  But if God is ready to move you on, He will give you the power of His Spirit to do it.

So come out of the wilderness.  Your destiny does not lie in the wildness, but in the land of the promise.
