Sanct - Dedicated to Me

I am calling you to put the blood on the doorpost of that which you have entrusted to Me.  For the time of sin is abounding and I am posting My protection for that which is Mine.  For My kingdom shall not lose anything that is given to the King.  So as the world insures their possessions, I am asking you to mark and sanctify all that you will entrust to Me.  But know that only that which has been given to Me will I hold.  Only that which is truly relinquished to My care and control will I secure in the heavenlies.

A new season of trust is at hand.  A new time of dedication and sacrifice is here.  But this is not a time to lose, but a time to gain.  For as you give to Me, so shall I shall give to you.  As you cast the bread on the water, so shall I bring return.  Trust in Me.

Sanct – From the Latin meaning sacred or holy - A prefix added to the start of a word. Indicates that "holy" or "sacred" modifies the word to create or expand meanings. Can be used with many words to form new words.

sanctify, sanctifies, sanctified, sanctifying (verb forms)

·        To honor as holy; to ascribe holiness to.

·        To manifest (God, his might, etc.) as holy.

·        To consecrate (a thing); to set apart as holy or sacred.

·        To keep (a day, etc.) holy; to keep or to observe as holy.

·        To make (a person) holy, to purify or free from sin; to cause to undergo sanctification

John 17:9-15

9        I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.

10      All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.

11      I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name-- the name you gave me-- so that they may be one as we are one.

12      While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.

13      "I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.

14      I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.

15      My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.

Commentary

This prophetic word is an invitation to trust the Lord with all parts of your life.  The word sanct is actually a prefix that is defined in this word as something dedicated to God, put in His hands.  The prefix sanct can be applied to all parts of your life as a prefix can be applied to form words such as sanctify, sanctuary, sanctity, or sanctum.

This word indicates that a new season is here and will require that you entrust all things unto the Lord.  This season is characterized by a time of abounding sin.  If this were like the stock market, it would mean a difficult and declining market condition.  So God is saying that the only way to protect your assets is to entrust them to Him.  I guess this is like having an off-shore bank account, way offshore, and secured in the heavenlies.  But this word also clarifies that this coming season is not a time to lose, but a time to gain.  This means that not only will God protect what is sanctified to Him, but He will give the increase also.

The associated passage from the prayer of Jesus for His disciples in John 17 shows first of all that Jesus acknowledges that all that He has is the Fathers.  He then relates that we, His disciples, also belong to the Father, but were given to Him.  He is asking the Father to protect us from the evil one.  Jesus has an excellent record for protecting His disciples as He says that He lost not a one, except for Judas who was chosen to fulfill the scripture of betrayal.  Therefore, we should decide to trust Him with all that we are and have.  That means dedicating it to Him and that sanctifies it and makes it holy unto Him.

This prophetic word requires that you truly reverence and honor that which is His as something holy and sacred unto Him.  At this point I cannot say I fully understand what that means.  But I know it will require a deeper understanding of holiness and sanctification.
