Prepare the Fields

Prepare the fields, for an early spring brings the latter rains. If the crops are not ready the rain will run off and be wasted.

For it is in the time when the world appears dormant that I tell you to prepare. As a farmer rises before dawn to prepare for the day's work, I awaken you to prepare the fields.

I have waited patiently for you to complete the work I have called you to do. The foundation has been laid, but now it is time to complete the work I have called you to do.

Do not neglect the work to which you have been called, for the provision was made by Me in the season when you needed it most; and I have equipped you with all you need.

For the time of harvest will quickly approach, so prepare the fields for a bountiful crop and be ready. My latter rain is at hand and is seeking a fruitful farmer who will prepare the fields.

Zechariah 10:1

Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who makes the storm clouds. He gives showers of rain to men, and plants of the field to everyone.
