The Need for Speed

Do you feel the need for speed? Sometimes you use speed to get somewhere quickly, but sometimes you need speed to escape the bounds of that which is holding you back. There is a freedom to speed when you move faster than the circumstances that are around you. Begin to dream of speed to escape that which is trying to settle in around like concrete. Let me propel you and watch as that which pursues you disappears behind you.

Run to Me. Run after me. Run with Me. Move with speed and freedom, trusting by faith. Navigate around and through things quickly and feel the exhilaration of moving with the Spirit. Take My hand and come fly with Me.

John 6:19-21

19 When they had rowed three or three and a half miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were terrified.

20 But he said to them, "It is I; don't be afraid."

21 Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.

Commentary

This prophetic word talks about moving with speed. This is defined in the word as moving faster than the circumstances around you. When moving quickly as this word implies, you tend to trust your subconscious to keep track of what is happening around you while you focus of navigating through what is in front of you. To move in this way requires that you make decisions quickly so that you can keep moving forward. I believe the Lord is saying in this word that He desires that you keep moving forward decisively rather than taking a defensive posture dictated by the circumstances settling in around you.
