Wine of Fellowship

As wine is served to share a meal, so I am asking you to share Me in fellowship. For I have given you testimonies of My grace, My joy, My mercy, and My goodness. Share these as you would share the best wine. For this is a season to share me as the joy and hope in your life. Many are seeking something to believe in and I will not disappoint.

Ephesians 5:18-20

18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.

19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,

20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Commentary

This prophetic word is telling us that we can share Christ and the things of the Spirit as you would share a fine wine at dinner. A fine wine is meant to enhance the experience of dining together. Though you eat different things, you can share the same bottle of wine and experience it together. As the wine compliments the meal, so will the Spirit compliment your conversation. In Ephesians 5:18-20 Paul shows that the Spirit can bring a joy that leads to an opportunity with Christ, rather than just the wine that brings an opportunity for the flesh.
