Be Holy

A new season of holiness is upon you. For holiness is My nature and My character. Holiness is love. Holiness is wisdom. Holiness is Grace. Holiness is power. Holiness is not descending to the world around you, but raising the eyes of world around you to see Me. What am I saying? What am I doing? What is My view? The world is now subject to the propaganda of the evil one, but who will share My thoughts, My words, and My plans. Who will share Me?

In this season I am asking you to raise the standard of conversation. Though the enemy comes in as a flood, I will raise the standard. You are My standard and I am raising you. Be holy.

Leviticus 19:2

Speak to the entire assembly of Israel and say to them: 'Be holy because I, the LORD your God, am holy.’

Matthew 5:46-48

If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Commentary

This prophetic word is about being a witness to this world by manifesting the character and nature of God. Of course we can only do this if we are yielded to His Spirit. But if you have spiritual thoughts, can you not apply them to the conversations that you have with others? I believe God is saying that He will open the doors of conversation, so that we can share His thoughts and words. In the letter to the Laodicean church Jesus says:

Revelation 3:20

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

From this word, I believe God wants us to stand at the door and knock when we are with unsaved friends or even those that are not walking in His fullness. If they hear His words coming from you, than they may open the door so that the Lord can have a personal encounter with them through you fellowship.

So if this word is for you, then at you next opportunity, knock on the door by sharing something that God is prompting you to share. If they open the door of the conversation, then open your mouth for Jesus to share His heart with them, about them, and for them.
