My Constitution is My Word

Man continually seeks to produce documents to define, control, and enslave others, but only My word is truth. Only My word brings freedom. Only My word prosperity. I am calling you to find your truth is My word. Search out you beliefs in My word. Know what you believe for evil seeks to entrap you into their laws and their rules that they may control you. But you belong to Me and I have given you My word, My truth, and My Spirit that you may know what I have freely given you.

Galatians 3:1-5

1 You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.

2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard?

3 Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?

4 Have you suffered so much for nothing-- if it really was for nothing?

5 Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard?

Galatians 5:1-4

1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.

3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.

4 You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

Commentary

The United States was formed with a constitution as its statement of beliefs and a foundation for our government. However, it appears that it is currently under great assault because it apparently gives the representative form of government too much power to allow a full take-over by one group. But at some point in the last days, man will depart from the faith and submit to the beast. However, the constitution of God has not and will not change for this church age until He returns. This prophetic word is establishing that His doctrine of personal rights and His plan for government will not change as the world changes. So we are being challenged to establish our beliefs and actions in His word so that we are not entrapped by the changes that are coming upon the earth.

Our original US constitution was founded greatly on God’s word and has produced the greatest freedom and the most powerful economy ever of the face of the earth. This is a clear manifestation of the reality that God does know best how to rule this earth. But as our country has fallen away from God and the truth of the cross, we will see our government depart from His word.

The scriptures referenced are in Galatians where the truth of God was preached and manifested originally without the religious doctrines of the Jews. The church saw salvation, healing and miracles without the religious doctrine, so Paul is challenging the Galatians as to why then are then submitting to these new laws. Galatians 3:3 says that they began in the Spirit but are trying to finish in the flesh. This is a clear warning for our country and for each of us as individuals. It was not the doctrine or laws that saved you, it was a direct intervention by the person of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. Therefore we must not take on the new doctrines of man and expect to become a better Christian. His word has not changed and our personal constitution should not either.
