Signs of My Coming

I am calling you to be the signs of My coming. Let the world know that I live and move and have My being in you. For you are the substance of the hope for salvation and the evidence of My unseen kingdom. You are a sign of My times. You are a light of My truth. You carry the miracles of My power.

I am calling you to bolding proclaim the gospel of My kingdom. I am calling you to believe that I am speaking through you. You must stand and declare the word of truth and life. Now is the time to stand against the darkness.

Matthew 5:11-16

11 "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

13 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

14 "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Commentary

This prophetic word says that we are to be the signs of His coming. Our lives and our very person should be the substance and evidence of the Kingdom of God which is soon coming to the earth. But we are challenged to believe that God can manifest Himself through us personally.

The passage in Matthew 5 starts with a reality that we will not always be honored for our stand for Christ but will often be persecuted. But we are still challenged to manifest the kingdom of God to this world. Jesus even says that the persecutions we face here are rewarded with great reward when His kingdom comes to this earth. I believe that once we enter His kingdom we will realize that we could have done so much more in this world. But we must start somewhere and this word challenges us to start now right where He has placed us.
