Give Us a King

Soon the world will know My name.   They will soon know that I am not Buddha, I am not Mohammad, I am not Mahdi, I am not Allah, but I AM that I AM, the God of Israel.   For I will make Myself known to the world and My gospel will be preached to the nations as a witness.   For when I return, there will be no question of who I AM.   Prepare the way as one crying from the wilderness.  Repent, for the Kingdom of the true and living God is at hand.  Choose you this day to serve Me as your King, or you will fall slaves to the kings in this world and their agendas.   For the struggle for power is at hand and the sides are forming, and soon the armies will build.  Have no place in the camps of the world, for destruction will come upon them suddenly and you must not be found conspiring with them.  Instead, seek My Kingdom and My righteousness, and I will watch over you.  For soon My name will be known and you must choose NOW who you will serve.  

1 Samuel 8:5-7

They said to him, "You are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways; now appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have."  But when they said, "Give us a king to lead us," this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD.   And the LORD told him: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.

Commentary

Soon God is going to “make Myself known to the world and My gospel will be preached to the nations as a witness”.  Very soon God will make it very clear that He alone is God, though many will still chose the deception over the truth.   He states here that the gospel will be preached as a witness, but for those rejecting Him, it will serve as a witness against them at the judgment.  Only by choosing to serve Him now will you be able to discern the truth because the deceptions are growing so strong that only a revelation from Him will allow you to see the truth.   There is a warning not to be found conspiring with them when He returns.  This means that the world is conspiring against the Lord because of the deceptions and you should not be found is their camp.   This means that you should realize that there is not necessarily truth on the winning side.  This is true in politics, business, and relationship disputes.  This does not mean you should not vote, but only that if you join your identity with a side to defeat another side, you may miss the truth of God and conspire against His truth.
